The CAREC Federation of International Logistics and Commerce Associations (CFILCA) hereby formally announces:

Mr. Daniyar Duissemaliyev currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Central Asian Logistics and Transport Association (CALTA). He has extensive professional experience in international logistics and road transport governance, with long-standing engagement in cross-border transport coordination, multimodal transport development, and regional cooperation mechanisms.
Kazakhstan, as a strategically positioned transit country across the Eurasian landmass, plays an important role in regional transport connectivity and corridor development. The present appointment is intended to further enhance CFILCA’s institutional coordination in Central Asia and to strengthen structured cooperation with industry stakeholders in Kazakhstan.
Building upon its existing cooperation mechanisms, CFILCA and the Vice-Chairman for Kazakhstan will prioritize the following areas of work:
To encourage and support a greater number of Kazakh logistics enterprises, transport operators, and relevant industry organizations to join CFILCA and the CAREC–ASEAN International Transport Alliance (CATA), thereby expanding the regional cooperation network and enhancing cross-regional industry connectivity;
To jointly advance the research and development of the CATA transport document system in compliance with the technical requirements of the United Nations Convention on Negotiable Cargo Documents (NCD Convention), and in parallel to promote CALTA’s designation as one of the first regional pilot entities under the Convention, with a view to facilitating its ratification process and effective implementation in Central Asia and across regions;
To continue working with Kazakh industry partners to advance institutional coordination, mutual recognition of standards, and digital transport innovation, thereby providing structural support for an open, connected, and sustainable Eurasian logistics cooperation framework.
This notice is issued for information and appropriate reference.
