The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the "Middle Corridor", runs from China through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and then overland to Turkey, or extends through the Black Sea to the rest of Europe, and is one of the three global trade corridors between China and Europe. In recent years, with the development of the international situation, the "Middle Corridor" has become a popular freight route between China, Central Asia, the South Caucasus and Europe, bringing huge opportunities to all parties involved.
In order to promote the high-quality development of the "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" between China and Central Asia, and encourage enterprises from all parties to participate in the construction and development of the corridor to achieve a vision of shared prosperity. CFILCA will organize a business delegation to visit Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan for on-site inspections on April 14, 2024. The delegation will exchange views with local logistics enterprises and port free trade zones, and hold related economic and trade activities.
The delegation is scheduled to depart on April 14, 2024, and will stay abroad for 8 days. Participants will be responsible for their own expenses during the visit. Please refer to the attached itinerary for details regarding the schedule. CFILCA would be grateful for confirmation of your participation and submission of the completed registration form to Ms. Ting Lin (email: tinglin@cfilca.org) no later than 20 March 2024. This will provide sufficient time for visa processing (if needed) and for the Secretariat to arrange logistical requirements. Details on the visiting schedule and the registration form for confirming participation are attached. Details of the fees and lodging arrangements will be provided to participants via an Information Note following confirmation of participation.
CFILCA looks forward to your active feedback and sincerely hopes you can participate in this event, seizing the opportunity to collaborate and develop with peers from different countries and regions.
Yours sincerely,
Secretariat
