On 18th-20th of April 2016, MNCCI, Mongolian Logistics Association and School of advanced business at Science and Technology University jointly held “The role of logistic in trade and transport facilitation” event by 4th year during “World logistics day”.
Organizers considered that the event fulfilled target by analyzing current situation of Mongolian trade and transport field, determining role of local non-governmental organizations, international organizations and banks which implement projects and private sector which run activities in the field and supporting, increasing their activity and operations.
Within the framework of this event, we organized the following events;
1. Organized the ‘The role of logistic in trade and transport facilitation’ science conference among scientist, teachers and students. The conference consisted of about 30 research works both students and researchers.
2. On 19th of April, we organized field trips on warehouse of MTS Agro LLC, on supermarket of AT Mart, on distribution center of Nomintav trade LLC. About 45 representatives attended at this trip.
3. Organized an exhibition. Some logistic and freight forwarding companies and trade companies advertised their operations and sold their products.
4. On 20th of April, organized the ‘The role of logistic in trade and transport facilitation’ forum. In the forum about 130 representatives participated from government and non-government organizations, universities and private sectors. The forum aim is to find output of economic development, optimize ways that reduce risks by using logistics complex solution in trade and transport facilitation. Therefore, related people including state policy makers, scientific researchers and businessmen gathered and changed their ideas effectively. Within forum, presentations were reported and discussed. And we sent the recommendation out of the forum to the related government organizations, ministry, political parties and agencies.
